About
Hi, I am Christian, a software developer and technology enthusiast with a strong focus on web development, open-source ecosystems, and practical engineering solutions.
I’ve been working with modern web technologies for many years, with a particular interest in PHP-based platforms, TYPO3, DevOps workflows, and automation. I enjoy building reliable, maintainable systems that are designed to scale — from complex web applications to infrastructure tooling and experimental side projects. Clean architectures, reproducible environments, and long-term maintainability are important to me.
Beyond software, I’m deeply interested in embedded systems, electronics, and hardware hacking. What started as curiosity has grown into a hands-on hobby: working with microcontrollers, building circuits, driving power electronics, and interfacing hardware with software. I enjoy the tangible side of engineering just as much as writing code.
More recently, 3D printing has become another creative outlet — both as a practical tool for prototyping and as a way to explore mechanical design and fabrication workflows.
I’m also actively engaged in the TYPO3 community, where I enjoy exchanging knowledge, experimenting with new versions and tooling, and contributing to discussions around best practices and real-world use cases.
This blog is my place to document projects, experiments, and ideas across software and hardware — for developers, fellow tinkerers, and anyone curious about how complex systems actually work. From time to time, this blog is also a space for my thoughts on topics that go beyond pure technology — things I’m currently thinking about, questioning, or forming opinions on. Not all of these perspectives will resonate with everyone, and that’s okay. And if you’d rather skip those, feel free to dive straight into the technical articles — that’s where my engineering heart lives.
